In the Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent x Final Fantasy IV collab, players who experience the story will be able to obtain Cecil as a playable character. Not only will Cecil be a free unit, but you’ll also be able to get his awakening stones for free in the event story. He will be an all-rounder type of character, capable of doing a variety of things in combat. As well, he can power up his skills after taking damage.
